The Asshole Potential of my Environment is Wicked

Jan 10, 2018

My words won’t come out right. I feel like I’m drowning and the oxygen mask has ran out of air.

Before you diagnose a serious disorder and start wondering why you have to go through that experience, remember the heart is an involuntary muscle. The asshole potential of that environment is bad to the bone. Bones are where the secret alchemy of mankind takes place. Our ancestors domesticated fire and that was a huge step forward for humanity.

In Greek mythology, Prometheus (meaning “forethought”) is a Titan, culture hero, and trickster figure who is credited with the creation of man from clay, and who defies the gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity, an act that enabled progress and civilization. Prometheus is known for his intelligence and as a champion of mankind.

The punishment of Prometheus as a consequence of the theft is a major theme of his mythology, and is a popular subject of both ancient and modern art.

Once Did I Lose Control, Gave All My Soul

Depeche Mode are an English electronic band that formed in Basildon, Essex in 1980. The group consists of founders Dave Gahan (lead vocals), Martin Gore (guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Andy Fletcher (keyboards, bass). Depeche Mode released their debut album Speak & Spell in 1981, bringing the band onto the British new wave scene.

The band’s last albums of the 1980s, Black Celebration and Music for the Masses, established them as a dominant force within the electronic music scene. A highlight of this era was the band’s June 1988 concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl, where they drew a crowd in excess of 60,000 people. In the new decade, Depeche Mode released Violator, an international mainstream success.

“People Are People” is Depeche Mode’s 10th UK single, and was recorded at Hansa Mischraum in West Berlin, and released on 12 March 1984. It was their first hit single in the US and the first single from the Some Great Reward album.

“People Are People” was written by Martin Gore, but the dancy, pop feel of the song may be credited to Alan Wilder. The Clive Richardson-directed “People Are People” video was released in two versions. The original video was made for the single version, but an alternate video was made with the “Different Mix”. The music video featured footage of various military scenes from the Cold War, mixed with footage of the band aboard the HMS Belfast.

This song is a call for people to put aside their differences and work toward unity.

It’s unusual for Depeche Mode because the lyrics are so blatant and leave little to the imagination. For this reason, Gore doesn’t consider it one of his stronger songs and has not played it live since the ’80s.

This was Depeche Mode’s breakthrough hit in the United States; they had several chart hits in the UK to this point. The song earned them a great deal of freedom, allowing them to create more music on their terms.

The percussion on this song incorporates various culinary implements. Lead singer Dave Gahan explained in Entertainment Weekly: “We used to go into studios, and the first thing we’d do, we’d ask where the kitchen was – literally for pots and pans and things that we could throw down the stairs, and record the rhythms they would make crashing around, and then make it into loops.”

Hard to Keep the Heart Open With That Thought

Have you ever thought of making business? If you leave, I will start being a business man.

That was the message I remember from 2 friends (one of them being my girlfriend). The ground floor experience is unforgettable. It leaves me vulnerable and I shake like an incurable. It cuts me open like a knife.

The potential of my work has yet to be evaluated. It’s safe to say that I might get unnoticed for a long time or maybe I will break through by 2020. In both cases, my goal is to reach 200 hearts a day.

We’ll see what is the potential of a blog with 200 daily readers.

What I know for sure is that I should refrain from being sick and tired of figuring out the marketing side. I know I have something to say. The potential of deception is high. Only people that do nothing, say nothing and are nothing avoid criticism.

Under Your Curse, They Call It Compromise

I know I make it worse by trying to write my thoughts on a blog. What else could I do?

Here’s a lesson: never mess with me and my crew. Mission probability has started. But the incident has reached a point where it is not understandable nor sustainable. Espionage. Mise en abyme. The words are out. Two riders are approaching and they will take me away.

Mise en abyme is a term used in Western art history to describe a formal technique of placing a copy of an image within itself, often in a way that suggests an infinitely recurring sequence. In film and literary theory, it refers to the technique of inserting a story within a story.

Last night, sleep was restorative. If a change is as good as a rest, then fashion is a good thing. As long as it is restorative. We should spend our lives in the rest and digest mode. And spend minimum time in fight or flight, and freeze and dissociate. This mode stands for pretending you’re dead. Cold as ice, let’s sacrifice our love!

The term is derived from heraldry and literally means “placed into abyss”. It has first been appropriated for modern criticism by the French author André Gide. A common sense of the phrase is the visual experience of standing between two mirrors, then seeing as a result an infinite reproduction of one’s image.

The mirror stage might be the one you have to deal with all your life.

Broke Another Mirror, What Becomes of Broken Hearts?

Hearts are meant to be broken. The subconscious mind is taking care of the pieces of a man or woman.

Use your allusions. Culture and art might be a hard sentence and the punishment doesn’t seem to fit the crime. When you are under 18, you don’t do any time. That is a basic premise for young people. Thus, if you are under 18 and feel like a prisoner, you should ask some simple questions.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad does that incident affects you and your entourage?

A premise is a proposition upon which an argument is based or from which a conclusion is drawn. What if 2+2 was equal to 5? What if 6 was 9? With time, the child draws in. You don’t know what to do. You are a child with the blues. Because professionals know what not to do.

The first thing not to do is break another mirror. The mirror has got something to sell. How come you enter a clothing shop and lose 5 kilos right away?

We are not equal on the fundamental subject of perception. Hearts are meant to motivate yourself. The goal is very simple. Maybe one day, one of these songs I write as a post will be cherished like the Mona Lisa.

People are People, Let’s Get Along Awfully

“Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.” The words are attributed to social activist and former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

I spend a lot of times in coffee shops, small bars and hotel lobbies. What strikes me is that people talk about other people, as if it was a trauma. I guess we all suffered from gossip and it might be the easiest thing to avoid when we pursue happiness.

It’s a heavy cross. How come we don’t get along? Are crazy old neighbours still the main culprit? What should we do? Are we little babies?

It seems children have an innate sense of God’s mystery.

Who didn’t cry away his or her life since he or she fell of the cradle? Sometimes, sadness and anger live together. As if you never knew who will win that battle.

Manhood 101. Boys don’t cry. As a result, we start losing our hairs. And when a woman cries, she can tear your world apart. All you can do is apologise.

Until you discover someone has been cheating on someone.

Where Did You Sleep Last Night?

The song “Honesty” by Billy Joel was #1 in France. No doubt it’s a sign of good health.

Don’t get me wrong. I love France but they like being in a trance. It’s a strange feeling, spending one’s time talking about a great country who has been guilty of inhumane acts, like persecutions on political, racial and religious grounds.

If you tolerate this, then your children will be next. When you remain lucid, your life can be saved and those around you also. I have a strong will to live; but I also have a strong will to kill Bill.

Last time I was sober, I felt the effort was too intense to be sustainable. Some will say we’re never going to survive if we don’t go crazy. We took a lover’s vow and sealed with a kiss. And that’s how I know I’ve been loved.

Last night I slept in Tunisia or underwater. Sleep must be restorative. If a change as good as a rest, then fashion is a good thing. As long as it is restorative.

We should spend our lives in the rest and digest mode.

And spend minimum time in fight or flight, and freeze and dissociate. This mode stands for pretending you’re dead. As if it was cold as ice. We should spend our lives in the rest and digest mode.

Why Lead Me To A Life Of Misery?

Unchaining one’s heart can only be beneficial to the audience. My enemies are starting to shake. I know it. I can sense it. They left no choice but ripping the microphone, the stage and the system.

The game that life has played on me sent confusing signals. The question that every man asks himself past age 40 is the question of power. Power, innuendo and animality.

When I was in my 20s, I was a dragon. I was flexible. But now, since a few years, I find myself always into the same old jam. I have a new goal though. I discovered an animal that would allow me to survive in that environment.

It’s called a Komodo waran.

That’s why I’m easy. I’m easy like my former torturer. Sounds cosmic but I just can’t stand the pain anymore. Was I persecuted because of race, politics and religion? Or because it was an easy thing to do and say?

Music has spoken, as if it was an ancient in a small tribe. Espionage? Or complexity? When you’re stressed, you tend to do easy things, like eating a chocolate bar. But, sometimes, eating chocolate is not bad for health.

The army was very clear: I have to kill Bill. You don’t choose your assignment in the army. Sometimes it’s the enemy.

Some days are better than others…

The title of the post was inspired by David Foenkinos’ book “Erotic Potential of My Wife”. A French author and screenwriter, he studied literature and music in Paris.

If you loved that post or my blog, don’t forget to go to my about page for details on “like, share, comment” and ways I monetise that blog. In other words, this sounds serious and I don’t get along with my mirror anymore. He’s got something to sell.

People are people so why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

So we’re different colours
And we’re different creeds
And different people have different needs
It’s obvious you hate me
Though I’ve done nothing wrong
I never even met you
So what could I have done

I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

People are people so why should it be
You and I should get along so awfully

Help me understand

Now you’re punching and you’re kicking
And you’re shouting at me
I’m relying on your common decency
So far it hasn’t surfaced
But I’m sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fist

I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man

Help me understand
